In this case, Trump is more than a limited purpose public figure. What adult does not know the name? Never mind his multiple marriages, real estate, and TV program. He repeatedly asserts himself into political campaigns and always gets press.

It’s bad enough when state court judges are timid or not informed, but one does have the right to expect more of federal judges. Perhaps that is where the campaign to enact a federal anti-SLAPP statute needs to aim efforts.
